Madison’s Work
Madison is the director of CODE (Children’s Online Digital Environments) research lab. Her work focuses on children and young people’s digital rights, with an emphasis on how youth experience digital spaces in their everyday lives. Madison uses participatory and youth-led methodologies, including Youth Advisory Boards and creative, arts-based approaches, to ensure young people are meaningfully involved in the research process. Madison’s work is grounded in a children’s rights frameworks and aims to inform policy, education, and community practice, particularly in relation to digital governance, online safety, and youth voice in decision-making.
